Today’s guest is Niccole Bruno, DVM- a skilled vet, public speaker, and advocate for diversity and inclusion. She currently owns and operates BLEND, a “certification program designed to train hospitals to embrace diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging daily to build better relationships with the communities they serve.”
After graduating from Tuskegee University and Cornell, she has worked in private practice for over 15 years, serving in veterinary leadership within her hospitals. Her decision to pivot into DEIB work and pursue BLEND stemmed from her lived experiences of being underrepresented in the veterinary profession and her desire to shift the culture.
